Credits: 1  |  Paid and/or free What host should I use  ?I used free & paid. But I like the paid one, right now I have a personal reseller and I'm giving host only to my websites. And I have some peoples that are taking host from me ( paid ). |

Credits: 11   | In my experience, free hosts can be as good as paid hosts. The quality of the technical support that they can provide is what really matters to me.

Credits: 0 | I've been using paid host for 3 years after using free host for 3 years, and yes, both can be same... Depend which free host you're looking for, the best I found was at freepgs.com but they're closing down after operated for 5 years  Since you have a reseller, why bother getting a free host? Just curious... |

Credits: 11 | Well, rules are kinda the same for most hosts: don't post warez, porn, racial stuff, no proxy-sites, don't use the host as a file storage, etc. Avoid those and you should be fine (and remember to back up your files regularly!) ;)

Credits: 2 | i've used free (post-to-host) hosts for 2 years now and aside from on occassion..haven't had much problems... just when they go updating stuff i've gotta rerun installers for scripts on my sites...but i'm betting that's a typical thing.. from all the posts i've read of people having issues with godaddy and host gator and a few others...seems to me that my free hosts are a lot better especially when it comes to support! |
