Default If you had $50,000 to spend - what would you do?

As title says, if you had $50,000 to spend on anything, not on cars, jewelery, or house but instead on starting a website, online business, etc..

What would you do and why? :smile2:

first, i'd buy a 20k Xserve, whatever, use some of the others to pay for some companies for hardcore SEO, for what? I don't know, a blog? forum? doesn't make sense, everything would be a waste. I really had no idea. maybe start a hosting site, hire some developers and do some brainstorming and sell the product. sounds like a plan..

The hosting idea is good. However, I'd buy a domain reseller account from the ICAAN ;) That's more profitable than anything! The rest of the money would be spent on a great theme for my domain reseller site, advertisement, press releases... I've got plenty of ideas xD

I'd buy a server, some bandwidth, photoshop and a commercial text editor and make a commercial content management system.

The rest I would spend on image editing/video equipment and make a podcast, because I think money is for fun and food.

I'll try to buy a middle-range busy SEO forum, otherwise I'll hire a high class designer to design an exclusive forum theme, hire some SEO guru to post in my forum - that's it!

I'll be rolling!

I would start the social network like facebook but for people who are into cars.
I would then make my cash puke site with a custom script, so it could spank around bux.to
I would then start an online business where people pay for services that I would out source.
then with what ever is left I would advertise my sites and what not

Invest in custom built communities, drive traffic and users to them by viral marketing and flip them for ten times my investment within a year
