| Regular Member | I saw a person selling three letter .net domain for very cheap price, as low as $15 . But I did not get my domain, I think he sent the domain to my paypal account's email, but that is not my fault, he asked me for the godaddy username which I sent him along with customer id. See, here is the direct copy/paste of the PMs between us. Can I do anything if he don't give me the domain. Quote:

You gave him the customer# of yours and he pushed the domain name to mypaypalemail :???: Anyways, I would like to ask if you have a verified Paypal? If no, I guess it's not possible to acquire a domain name at "godaddy". I am saying that because of my experience with Ardit. He pushed a domain name to my account but I could not accept it because I did not have a verified Paypal. Secondly, You can do these things if the domain name doesn't get to you because of the seller's fault. [If it is your mistake, I'd recommend you to try to correct it] 1) Talk to the seller and tell him/her your problems. 2) If he doesn't listen to you[i.e, you've been scammed ], Just open a Paypal dispute. I think and really hope it should help. |

| Regular Member | I think that I was not asked for a paypal account email while signing up. So, I think it does not matter at all. But if I can't received the domain name , is the domain with him now or nowhere, I mean he sent to my paypal account instead of username or customer id.

| Regular Member | I asked one of my friend to use his paypal and get me the domain, but it also failed as it needed credit card verification. But now the problem is completely solved, with my hard trick to accept the domain with credit card.
