Credits: 31     |  Fund.com sold for $10 million! Fund.com sold for $10 Million! $10 million just for a domain fund.com! Clek Media Inc. has announced on March 11th that it broke the world-record sale of the domain Fund.com for US $9,999,950 That much on a domain name is a damn big amount! |

Credits: 0 | :eek: Really! I would never spend that much on a domain name. Rather, it'd be better if we spend that much on marketing. Marketing is a very important thing. Even Google's product can fail if they are not marketed properely. Though I agree that this (fund.com) is a great domain name and deserved the respect it got. |

Credits: 0 | As in my opinion, it does deserve the respect. I am saying this simply because it is a dictionary word and is a great domain. But the price tag maybe too high. Having said that, we cannot really comment without seeing the traffic stats etc. :eek: |

Credits: 0 | well its a massive company. They can afford it. Plus im pretty sure that their is a company behind the domain, Fund.com Inc. (OTCBB: FNDM) Compared to BUSINESS.COM which was sold to yellow pages publisher, for $345 million, 47 times the purchase price of the domain. 10 mill is chump change |
