Default Domain name business?

Hi guys,

I have seen many of my friends earning thousands of dollars by selling and buying domain names i.e trading of domain names. After buying a domain name, they develop the website, try to get a good PR, and sell it.

Wonder if someone here is in this business! If yes, please share some tips!

I've done the same thing with m3i.biz! m3i.biz was a music search engine, and I had 500+ visits daily, but NO PR.
And I took 20 bucks ( $ ) for it. And i spend with it only 3 $

I've seen a lot of people doing that: buying domains, building sites and then sell them for some bucks. It takes sometime but it's worth the pain!

What types of site do they develop after buying the domain?

Forum, simple HTML site with great unique content, etc..?

Just wondering, cause I might try doing this once.. and see if it works out.

I did those before, but due to the time spending on developing those domains, I gave up long ago...

SEO is very important in developing these domains if it's for sale within months time. Remember, use a brandable domains, as in my research and observation, most people tend to like brandable domains than keyword domains. Well, at the same time, using a brandable domain give you a freedom to develop whatever content you want. Don't use adsense-ready website to develop those domains though...
