Credits: 6  |  Free or Paid Directories? On many web directories there is an option for paid or free link submits. What is the difference between a free and a paid one? |

Credits: 10  | Well the paid links are the sponsored ones. What does it mean? Well in most directories paid links appear first on their category and most times have priority in search results. They also sometimes appear on the index as the premium links or sponsored links if such a section exists. Other advantages of paid links are that they are validated very fast(usually within 24 hours) and no reciprocals are in any way needed.
