I am always hearing people talking about how blog commenting helps you bring some traffic in to your site, so now I want to try it out.

I am just curious to see how many people out of 100 blog comments I leave on each different blogs actually visit this site in return. All the blogs that I will leave comment in will be webmaster related.

Everyday for a whole week - I will leave 15 blog comments per day on 5 different blogs per day. At end of the week, I will let you guys know how many out of that visited the site back.

I am just curious.

I've been checking some blogs and left comments on some of them. In most cases, you'll get a response from the actual owner of the site / blog. If your comment is really good, you may attract some visitors as well.

Right now, I'm thinking of going Guest Posting. I'd like to try that out!

Guest posting sounds good, I might try it for Web-talks too. And blog commenting would help you in making backlinks too.

well i know that i get some traffic from places that i comment
acosmin.com for example. one comment got me like 6 visits

I think commenting brings traffic to your blog.

Little more then half of the blogs I posted on checked visited the forum and some checked out the discussions.

Great results, leaving comments does help!

Good to know that it is working. If you can get a blog that has huge traffic, then the clicks you get from this do definitely add up.

I posted a comment to Problogger well over a year ago now. I get a visit every two or three days of days just from that comment. Must have been well over a hundred by now!

And that was just from one comment that was a fair way down the list. If I had been the first to comment on that post I would probably have had more than a thousand hits from it by now.

Was it really long and factual comment that is getting you these hits?

Just wondering what type of comment you left.
