Credits: 31  |  Why do you join a forum? When surfing forums, what makes you want to join? The post count, amount of members, etc..? What really makes you eager to join? |

Credits: 11 | There are several factors. Usually, I join webmasters-related forums only. I do take into consideration the amount of members and posts before registering. Also, spammed forums (like Hostbidder) scares me away. When possible, I check the forums to determine whether the admins/moderators are active or not.

Credits: 3 | I actually like fewer members, because small communities post more and I like getting in on the ground floor. I join forums to get feedback and help with stuff. (I joined a PHP forum to get coding help, and the design forum I joined is being mean to me, but maybe someone will help me eventually?) |
