Credits: 31     |  How do you get your first members? How do you get your first 50-100 members? Please share of how you would go about getting your first new members when you have just started a new forum. |

Credits: 0 | Usually first members to join are your friends/ relatives. And you advertise on forums, blogs and get members from those. After some months, organic traffic starts creeping in. |

Credits: 1 | yes friends and ads. it's like this you tell your buddy about it then your buddy tells his buddy about it then your buddy's buddy tells his buddy about it and so on as gaming sites, usually youtube videos etc are helpful

Credits: 0 | Friends and family first but then a contest attracts tons of people (works really good if you advertise it). I think that how you guys pulled it off too

Credits: 1 | Yup, first you get your friends, relatives and people you know to sign up and put content. After that it's all auto! People come to your forums and sign up because they see lots of posts and interesting stuff. BTW you shouldn't advertise a forum, you will get members advertising but they will never be active (personal experience) |
