Finally got Alexa Rank!

Discussion at Web-Talks in the Webmaster Discussion forum. I finally got ranked by alexa. I am 4,982,314 - which isn't all that good. It will improve over time, hopefully. :nervous:...

oh man.. my alexa rank is like a jojo, around every beginning of the months i go up to (or down, what ever you want to say) 92.000 and then back to around 130.000. I stopped to care but I have this alexa toolbar installed on my FireFox so I see it every time I visit my site. ;)

Alexa rank is useless in my opinion.
I think it means nothing.

But mine is 4,070,833

You are right ardit, Alexa is regarded as useless by some, but its still a good indicator of a website traffic without access to the site log

Imho, alexa is the best ranking system bevause it is based on real facts(traffic) and not backlinks etc..
Mine is 520,000 !

Its limited to just Alexa Toolbar users.
I don't have it and billions of others don't.

I guess you really like it if you have a high ranking though

Don't agree with the statement billlions of others don't..
Famous ad netwroks(e.g AdToll) are based on alexa rank. What's more more people are interested in traffic which means exposure and not google PR.
Better go with alexa as soon as you can for increased profits.
