Is a 301 redirect really perment ??

So I redirected a domain to another one for a bit (301 , perment) and im using it again and google is crawling my site like crazy but nothing is getting indexed , is this really perment , now im redirecting the old domain to the one im using now , btw my google links have gone down

You will need to have patience with things such as getting indexed into Google. It could take a while, and it really does variate from a few weeks to a month, if not more.
