Just a quick query and a poll.
Are you with tabled designs? Like making a basic table and splitting the websites into columns.
Or with tableless designs? They are considered as more clean and professional.

Which one you prefer and why?

Hi Thanoz,

I picked Tabled designs. Why? Because there's no such thing as tableless designs ;)

You see, nowadays most sites have replaced tabled designs with divs and spans. However, there are a couple of things that look better on tables:

1. List of records / registries pulled out from a database
2. Banner areas (think of three square-shaed banners that need to be side by side... it's easier to get that effect using tables)
3. A login box. Though it's possible to create a login box using divs I gotta say it's much better to use tables here. You won't get any problem with aligment or stuff like that.

Get my point? ;)

Of course, if there's no need to use tables then DIVs and SPANs are your best option.

I chose tabless, just based solely on what I have heard about em.
They make em sound better

tableLESS

Tables are only to show data in, tables should never been used for design purpose only because its easier with them it doesnt mean they are made for it. Everything you design with table you can do with CSS learn that...

I hate tables and i like div and spans. Div's offers more customization with CSS, of coz. And tables just had the problem with messing up things. I don't know but i dislike using tables. And they are not flexible too.

Table less and like Ikki - you cant really not use tables. These CSS designer really starting to get on my nerves with their " We want to change the web" slogans.

all layouts should be coded in Divs - tables are for TABLES ie displaying data - nothing else.

i picked tabled...only because I grew up with html
i understand tables lol

css and divs are a bit new to me and i'm still learning....
